Gee, you guys are baggin' on Wranglers an awful lot. o_O Sounds a bit like sour grapes. Say what you want, but they are still the only 4WD vehicle currently produced (and marketed in the US) that comes from the factory with a solid front axle and is appropriately sized for the trail. Not to mention offering both factory front and rear selectable lockers. And that you can fit 37s on with like 4' of lift. They pretty much come from the factory with everything on a Tacoma owner's wishlist of stupidly expensive shit to make their Tacoma a badass trail rig. And, once you start modifying them, you get a lot more bang for you buck.

Haha, again, I wish Toyota would get a clue and reintroduce the HiLux to the US market with a solid front axle, selectable front and rear lockers and 35s from the factory. :rasta:

Exactly. Tacomas with 3" of lift have to do a cab mount chop at least to clear 33x12.50s. I had to cut sheet metal to clear 33x13.50s. Don't get me wrong, I love Tacomas and T4Rs, obviously, but Wranglers are a much more off-road/mod friendly platform for a trail rig. I get :jellydance: sometimes that Wrangler owners have it so easy from that perspective. We make up for it in reliability, I think...and the ability to haul something bigger than a bread box without hooking up a trailer.

I noticed it says @Miami Chillin is on site 21. I think it should say 22 since that is where @Taco No Baka is at the one night.
