Nice bed lights. I did mine before buying my ST and rendered the ones at the front almost useless. The flap is my biggest gripe about the ST.

Really? I ran it like that for a few weeks and the front flap kept blowing inside due to the wind from driving. Eventually all the extra air going into the softopper caused the rear window to rip. I've since put velcro on to hold the front flap.

Yeah.. Ive never attached it and its never been a problem... I think i mentioned in a later post this might be due to the fact that i have a stepside... probably get more wind block from the cab than the standard bed...

I’ve purchased replacement buckles for backpacks at craft stores like Jo-Ann’s.

The buckles are stamped TSR 75 and appear to be a 3/4" buckle. I tried matching them with an ITW 3/4" buckle from REI (and several other 3/4" buckles I had around), but they didn't click together. I e-mailed Softopper asking if I could buy a few and they ended up sending me some for free.

The straps are off of my Osprey Atmos 65 AG backpack.

Not sure if it’s been brought up, but one of the buckles on the inside that tighten down the ST broke, so I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not that could be replaced. I haven’t really looked into it, but figured I’d ask here.

"perfect" is close... They have a taller bed, so the topper is short on a 2nd gen.

Hope this is okay here: x-posted in the BTS section. Looking for a good deal on a black Softtopper for a 3rd Gen Tacoma long bed. I am located in Northern VA if anyone is looking to sell theirs.

Can anyone confirm if a hi lift jack mounted in tracks still fits with soft topper? Looking inside i dont see how it would. Bout to pull the trigger on one. Thanks

Thanks. Mounted on sides or on the bulkhead? I got the topper and looks like i can secure the flap under the jack on bulkhead where mine is. Either way it will work out.

Anyone have any advice on how to make the fabric more straight on top rather than bowed between each top rack or does that look normal to you all.

Mounted on the side. Maybe lowering it a notch on the center mount. I dunno. Just throwing out an idea.
