I just went from the OPT7 LED headlights to the Xenon Depot HID Extreme kit with the Phillips 4300k bulbs. I had a frightening experience driving the other morning in the snow where the headlights were just caked in snow due to no heat from the LED's and I couldnt see anything.

Put my HID kit in last night, and the throw and coverage of the HID's over the OPT7 LED's is staggering. I 100% feel the LED headlights I bought were a massive waste of money now that I have this kit. I know the OPT7's are very popular on here so flame away, but this is just my experience going from LED to HID.

Don't raise your lights. You will blind drivers in smaller cars. No need for that.

Man, these headlihgts are leaps and bounds better than my CR-V and my wifes Outback. I do not have a issue and again drive on NH roads where there are not too many street lamps at all.

Yes you can adjust them up, mine were pointed down pretty far. With a screwdriver from top, clockwise of the screwdriver will bring the headlights up.

I don't know if it was the suspension settling but mine took several turns before they were adjusted correctly. I opted to upgrade to Phillips Extreme vision bulbs and that help a bit more from stock.

Then I upgraded to 35w HID's with 4300k phillips bulbs and took them out after 1 month of use (too much reflected light).

I'm now happy with my upgraded halogen bulbs and if I want more light, I use my factory fog lights (had to adjust those up too) with phillips vision plus.

Screw that, , I get blinded by every new Toyota corolla I meet with those led headlights. They seem to glare right into my line of sight. Probably are fine if I was a in a lower car.

Have you considered the H11 to H9 mod? I did it for my lows and it has helped a lot with the factory output, and is considerably cheaper than the LED route.
