Let me first say thank you for all that have contributed to this post! Bought a new 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport last night and couldn't stand driving home with the stock halogens.

So I'm thinking about putting the "new improved" Hikari LED's in my LB's, HB's and fogs. Is that overkill or does everyone think I should go for it? Did anything change for 2018 that would prevent me from putting these in my new Taco?

Seems like this site has a great group of people. I'm looking forward to diving into my new ride and contributing here in the future.

I wouldn't say its overkill at all. You can never have too much light! I don't think anything has changed on the 18s but then again I've never seen the lights on em so can't confirm that.

Pulled the trigger! Ordered 3 sets of the new Hikari's for my LB's, HB's and Fogs and a set of 921 LED for my reverse lights. Just a shade under 300 bucks for better lighting is worth it to me.

NICE! I'm excited for you. You're gonna need to post pics when you get them all in!

I'm gonna order the new HIKARIS sometime today. Ideally I'd like to replace my old model ones too...but I think they're fine for now.

So far chrome removal, darkened tail lights, fender flares, and tints
@MrMccrackin yes, those are the one's I bought. I'd shop on ebay though, they have 4 and 6 pack deals.

Look like my other license plate light went out now as well....damn. The superbrightled bulbs didn't last long at all and honestly not worth the hassle to RMA them. My bulb from walmart has been working great so far so I'll go get another one of them I guess.

Not sure if this has been answered. I found a set of LED's for the front ambers and rear taillights but the rear turn signals fast blink. Fronts are fine. Has anyone found an 7443 that doesn't fast blink?

These are the ambers I used:

These are the Red LED I tried. Worked great in the brake lights, but not for the turn signals.

I want to see the side by side comparison of the xhp50 cree hikari bulb vs this new hikari bulb. What specific cree chip is in that aux f16?
