RTT is the Smittybilt Overlander. It's actually rather impressive. I've never been in a Tepui or CVT, but I can't imagine them actually being "better" for any reason.

I hear ya I did training over there for a month when I was in the Marines up near the border and then was down south by the coast when we were waiting to get out of there.

I know what you mean with the looks even for the short time I was there, I can imagine on the scale you're talking about though.

Took my 15 yr old nephew to the ohv park to test out the Falken Wildpeak A/Ts. They did great, I only had to use 4wheel drive after my nephew got it stuck on hill. He did pretty good driving a truck for the first time. Yeah, I'm a pretty cool uncle. Some white knuckling for me but we had fun.

    A thing or two...
It all depends on options and brand. Barebones weld-on sliders start around $3-400. Add kickout, fill plates, bolt-on, etc and you start pushing $6-800 easy.

Finally got around to applying some juice to my retrofit build. I can't wait to get them on the truck.

I was just playing along with boogie's statement. I realize how exspensive they can be but I also understand how functional yet relatively inexspensive they can be like the 4x innovation sliders. Not exspensive, basic, yet functional and made of good material. Or for that matter SOS bolt on sliders, the basic set $450.

4xinnovations weld on DOM sliders with kickout the most expensive are for the DCLB for $339. Then they go up from there depending on manufacturer weld on or bolt on etc.

Thank you this was what I was trying to say. I just didn't remember the price on the 4x sliders. I've assembled a set and welded them on a local guys truck and was pleasantly suprised by the quality.

They're the ones I am getting because of cost quality and versitility on install since you weld all the mounting legs and plates yourself. That and they are the longest on the market for the DCLB @ 99" compared to everyone else at 96" or less.
