Yah, I hear you on the CO - that's why I'd want to leave doors with just screens...but then have the "will it heat?" issue. For now, I think we just snuggle down under the down comforters. Seems to have worked so far, though @mrs.turbodb would like it to be warmer when we get in...so maybe that's a good route to go...

 

Pretty sure every vendor on TW has given me a knee to the skull with the exception of @SCSPerformance, @Pelfreybilt and @ARCHIVE. Those three are legit folks.

Called my cc company and they gave me a partial refund on that transaction from 9/29/17 when i ordered it.

Me too. Have a long list to do. Only a few things a really pricey. The rest is just lots of time.

Get an electric blanket then. Easy to add especially since you have the 12v plug right under the tent. Cheap too and most have timers on them. Just turn it on to warm the bedding before going in and then turn it on when you get cold again.

The trucks also leaking a noticable amount of oil and im still trying to figure out where its coming from. Seems like its from the oil filter. Not really any large leaks above that...and i dont think there are any seals or gaskets that would be profusely leaking on the block on the pass side of the engine at that level?

 

I don't know the 3rz very well. maybe Zane @Speedytech7 can help. If you think its that, have you tried tightening it?

 

i havent done anything lol. I wanted to take it and clean it, get down and spray the whole engine at the car wash from the bottom and see if i can see what the culprit is

 

Still think an electric blanket is the simplest solution and best. Don't have to worry about propane. And is safer.

If anyone is truly surprised by the demise of AP, they haven't been paying attention.

I tried one. Might have been the one I chose, but it didn't work all that well. And it drew down the battery pretty good. I don't think it's smart to do a 12v electric blanket without a dual battery setup.

 

What's up with what now? 3RZ leaks at oil pan and rear main most commonly. Somehow mine only leaks from the valvecover and not enough to drip though.

 

Oil pan seems too low for where its stemming up from, if it was the rear main would it be on the pass side of the engine block?

 

no be by the bell housing and oil pan.

 

Rear main is the rear of the engine.

 

haha i know where the read main is. I was being more sarcastic. I know the last time i had oil running all down the side of my engine is was a distributor cap o ring...but thats clean. so all i can assume is oil filter. head gasket?

 

Nah if it was the head gasket you'd likely be have way worse problems and leaking coolant.

 

hmm. well i dont think its the VC, that seems too high on the engine
