How well does wrap hold up to offroading?

 

Passenger side doesn't have a needle bearing and it doesn't make that type of sound.
Did you just install your suspension? Could be the upper & lower control arm bolts need torqued WHILE THE WEIGHT IS ON THE WHEELS. Bushing could be turning against the frame mounts.
Is the sound only when turning? Only when suspension is flexing, even over just a speed bump or driveway entrance?

 

I only know about Snap-On and Marco. I've always used Snap-On but their batteries are only warrantied for 1 year. So a few months ago I decided to try the Matco 1/2" drive that is rated more torque than Snap-On's. OMG , this thing has crazy torque. I have to be real careful with it. Last week I was installing front suspension on a f-150. It tightened the upper control arm ball joint so tight and so fast that the cast iron knuckle broke.
I wouldn't invest that much money in an expensive one since you're not using them daily. If you are using them daily, go with either of these two brands. Just make sure you keep the batteries charged up and go with lithium batteries only

 

Well, it will protect the paint from scratches(not dents obviously) during offroading.
I suppose a scratch down the bedside that won't buff out would be cheaper to re-wrap than it would be to re-paint.
@boogie3478 did you ask them about that?

 

The wrap will certainly help with the scratches. @Darkgoatracer was with me when my paint got scratched to hell at Sleepy Creek and his wrap did get some scratches but you really have to look hard to spot them. Nothing will last forever but the wrap should hold up for a long time as long as I wash the grit and other stuff from under the truck so it doesn't work itself under the edges of the vinyl.

 

The sound is when turning.

 

Grease the steering stop on the LCA where the knuckle rubs against it at full lock

well I pulled the winch out of the box and got the control box mounted and wired up..... gonna wait for a better day to pull the bumper off and actually bolt the winch on

 

Could be. At full turn they rub each other, and will creak if dry...and in winter they get dry easily. Just grease them
