Damn. I really need to get off my ass and wash mine lol. Before it gets hot as balls here. Shit, it's already hitting 80 here during the day. I have stuff to do a hand wash, but the foam cannon/pressure washer intrigues me.

So, that foam cannon thing is just an attachment that you hook up to the pressure washer right? Also, I have always wondered what pressure do you use when you spray your truck off to rinse with a pressure washer? I would be worried about damaging stuff

I have Hylux HIDs and a diode dynamics harness. When I bought my HIDs, they were around 60 I believe, paid a 10 dollar upgrade for 4300k ball style bulbs and I think my harness was around 12 dollars. I know they've increased the price since they've gotten more popular though.

Double checked with dealer that I had the tow package, and checked with them in tonque and tow capacity. Came close to maxing out on both helping a friend move a trailer.
It will pull a 3ton trailer, it will not like it, and I didn’t make it go above 45mph.

Thanks, nothing wrong with those prices. Why are the harnesses not included, and not part of the bulb? I guess what I'm saying and don't understand is, why is it a multi-component setup? Are all HIDs this way?

Wish the towing package included a built in brake controller. Not a big deal adding one but jeeze.

Yes, if you already have a pressure washer, nothing else is needed. The cannon attaches like any other nozzle. I have a Greenworks 1800psi @ 1.4 gpm electric washer that has a 20° and a 30° nozzle. I only use the 30°. I will however get right up on the metal to remove stubborn dirt, bugs, or recently, these little black specs, that I'm guessing are from the trees. They're almost like little balls of tar. Anyway. For delicate areas like the rubber window moulding I stay farther away. And yes, I do pressure wash the sidewalls of the tires. It does not harm them. I also have a Honda powered gas pressure washer that puts out 2400psi @ 2.4 gpm. That thing will cut thin plywood so I would never use that one.

The electric models with auto shut off when you release the trigger are just as easy to use as a hose, and are very inexpensive. If you have a condo, or apartment you may not benefit as much with one but if not you can always use them around the house for cleaning chores too. I use the heck outta mine.

The harness is not required. It's a direct plug-n-play set up but it was just a piece of mind for me. Only thing with the kit I got is that it's a "fast-on" style, you might need to get a better fuse. Check out the thread.

The 7-pin did sync the truck up to the trailer brakes. With the weight ratio on a downhill I did wish I could have modified the braking ratio of trailer:truck

Yea, that's where a brake controller comes in handy. That's the key element. The "brake control" pins are dead on the 7 pic connector without the brake controller. All you are doing is running lights on the trailer without a brake controller. And that is likely fine unless you are running a lot of weight or rolling down longer hills. On the flat, and at slower speeds, no issues.

I plastidipped mine and painted the emblem. It was going to be temporary until I get a grille. I like the way it turned out and now that I added the camera in the center, I think I'll leave it as is for now.
