Adjust doors remove and replace door inside seals. This is a problem that goes back to Gen 2 models. One would think Toyota would get this right sooner or later? I don’t know what the fix is....

I found the TSB, called my local dealership, the service advisor gave me the parts numbers
    6786104071
    6786204071

I then called the dealership (I recently moved) who replaced the seals previously about a year ago.....after 4 transfers (already ready to throw my phone against the wall) the service advisor said they won't release part numbers that were used in previous repairs, WTF....I explained I need to know whether they already used these parts or not b/c I don't want to waste my time and Toyota money getting these same pieces installed if they're already in there as I know they don't work.............after 10 minutes on hold he finally came back and said the new parts are in fact different than what was replaced....now to call back the local dealership and make an appt

The variance between dealers and employees is so annoying.

I have another 800 miles before my service. Please let me know what your guy did and how it worked out. Thanks in advance.

Was this for the "Reed/Buzz" noise as per the TSB or my issue coming from the mirror area?

There's another thread about this noise with a verified solution. I believe I used tubing with 1/4" outside diameter and 1/8" inside diameter. Measured and cut pieces for the entire length of the top door seal, from side mirror to top corner, and forced it in between the door and the seal. It works great and eliminates this noise. I'll try to find the other thread and post a link to it here.
