I’ve been slacking. Axle tube cleaned up need to finish the driver side.

One very important part came in today. A750f extension housing for the case to bolt to.

It bolts to the transmission. It allows the transfercase to bolt to the transmission. The 4x4 has a a750f transmission and the prerunner has the a750e which is a standard 2wd trans. The inchworm adapter allow me to bolt the 4x4 tail housing to my 2wd trans

Not much as happened to the truck. Think I have a u joint that’s going out but other then that I stripped the bumper down and re painted it. Never costing anything with spray bends liner again.

Have to wire the winch mount lights and fair lead still

After the install did you have more lift with the 63 install than with the Allpro Expo's??? You are referring to the Expedition 3" springs correct? How much of a difference? Been going over a lot of stuff with Trident904's build on all this also.

With chevy 63s they match up to a 3” lift on a 2nd gen. That’s with no overload. I left it in because of how high I was before. I had 4” in the rear plus 1.5” block

Think 4" lift in the back is what I need. Especially when hauling a trailer and loaded down with all the gear for hunting/camping trips. Trident 904 also mentioned removing the overload leaf because it wasn't necessary (at least for his set up). Do you think their is any appreciable difference in handling with the overload leaf left in?

Are you able to go to the AOP meet?

Also want to run an idea by you since you have a good rep as a welder and know a good bit about Tacoma's. I no longer have a spare under the back of the truck (common for a lot of us). The spare tire rack seems to be integral to keeping the frame aligned in the back. Any good reason why I could not cut the spare tire rack out and weld two metal pieces across the top of the frame without any issues? Reason being is to install a square, light weight (aluminum probably) box in that space that could be used to store gear of various sorts.

You can remove it and weld in a new one sure but a recovery box under the truck would need to be water proof and if your ever stuck how are you going to get to said recovery gear ?

I will not be at AOP

The overload keeps me from going negative arch and also gives me that little bit of lift. I could remove it if needed but I will be going to a custom pack later due to what I’m swapping in the front

Planned for it to be waterproof.

Where do you plan to get custom pack and what are you thinking about up front. I'm not going to be in a hurry on this mod and would like to see where you are going with your truck before I make a decision.
