    TW 3rd gen, pls HELP!

    I have 2017 taco 6MT 4x4 offraod DCSB.
I want to lift the truck to2.5"-3" for ground clearance & for beefy look of course... It has a bed mat, a tri-fold a bed cover and a rock sliders will be installed soon. NO winch/metal bumper.

I want to install the following:
    -16x8. 0 offset wheels
    -265/75/16 AT tires 32"
    -2015 TRD Pro suspension. PTR13-35150 (6112 & 5160 Bilstein) lift gain 1.5" front & 0" rear.
    -1.5" block rear
-1" FRONT shock upper plate lift spacer

So after it settles the front suspension and rear. I should have 3" front and 2" rear (including 0.5" tire lift)...

    Questions:
-will I need UCA to get proper alignment?
-Will I need to install differential, sway, skid plate and driveshaft spacer?

Any input or additional info will be much appreciated.
Hoping this will be helpful as well.

I have a 17 TRD Sport cab access. I just put a 3" lift in mine but am still running stock tires. I didn't have to change my UCA's although you may have to put the shims under your carrier bearing to drop your driveshaft 2 degrees. Also there seems to be this issue with the driver side differential getting a vibration. Mine is waiting for a new differential to arrive at the dealership. There saying that with these lifts that you need to replace the needle bearing with the Ecgs bushing. Look it up. Other than that you should have no problems.

Any idea how much will be for the parts and labor?

If I stay at 2" lift, will I have to go to this hassle?

Many but not all trucks develope vibrations after lifting due to the inferior design of the needle bearing so many people replace it with the ECGS bushing as a preventive measure while installing the lift. May as well get it done while the suspension is apart the first time then having to go back and rip it all apart to replace it if you do get vibes.

Shop charged me $235 for labor to install my bushing, I provided the parts, removal tool and oil.

Parts and tool can be sourced from East Coast Gear Supply.

The Bilstein 5100s are a solid setup all around, just from my experience. Very pleased with them. Icon progressive add a leaf in the rear. Better than a block and worth it.

Yep and anything over 2 inches might require replacing the upper control arms to get a decent alignment.

Happy with my bilstein 5100s, OME springs and 3 leaf AAL, gives me about 2 inches front and back without making a 265/70/17 tire look too small.

    Nice set up.
I should be okay with 2" then.

All in, parts for my lift are about $600, 800 if you do the bushing and add the removal tool and oil.

If not doing the install yourself I'd expect a shop to charge between $150 -300 per corner ($800 -1200) in labor overall for install depending on where you live and if alignment is included.

What really worries me on the AAL is the ride.
It might make the ride rough. I am not carrying anything heavy, just trifold, bed mat and rock sliders.

That's why I went with 3 leaf progressive, rides better than a single AAL. Price for a 3 leaf AAL are about $180 from either wheelers or Headstrong. No need to pay more for an ICON 3 leaf as they're all made the same.

Details of my build are here.

I also have sliders, bed mat and instead of a tonneau, I have a toolbox. Truck rides great.
