Wow, $650 for the stock wheels. If I can find the TRD wheels for less than $800 and sell mine for $400 I'd be happy, but it sounds like I might do better than that. I'm not even considering the price of tires since I plan to run my stock ones out. Almost 40K on them now, and unfortunately they still have another 10-20K easy, but my wife doesn't need to know that ;)

I was considering powder coating the OEM OR wheels, but that seems stupid given the math mentioned above. Not to mention I can ship the wheels/tires to a shop and have them ready to swap vs dropping my truck off for how every many days to powder coat.

    Thanks for the response!

This was also a year ago when the market wasn’t quite as flooded and the wheels/tires were practically brand new from the factory so those two factors affected the selling prices.

I had the tires shipped to me from 4WP and the wheels were ordered directly from the dealership.

You can likely get what you’re asking or more if you’re patient and sell locally.

THIS is why i appreciate your posts so much. detailed and actually take the time to help someone out.

Also, once my stock rubber needs replaced, these are exactly what i'm looking to replace them with: any feedback? seems most go with E load, and i'm on stock height so pretty sure these at the largest we can go without rubbing. any regrets?

    BFG LT265/70R17 load range C All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires (part # 66255)

    Happy to help!

    No regrets at all!

This is the largest you can fit without risk of rubbing or issues with stock suspension.

I don’t recommend E tires unless you do a lot of heavy towing. They are a lot heavier so it’ll affect gas mileage/power and may ride a little rougher although I could be wrong. I have had no problems with the C tires, they ride the same or better than stock tires with negligible MPG loss.

Are the high beam reflectors blacked out too?

Yeah, I would definitely not recommend doing that. They look a lot better but are relatively useless even with the LED bulbs I have. I bought them like this so I didn’t have a say. My low beam HIDs are very bright so it is more than enough light and if I need more light offroad, I use the 32” light bar.

They look awesome, but yea I figured that would defeat the purpose. I've got my eye on some aftermarket stuff, but I'm still leaning towards doing DIY or nothing at all. Another member went crazy with duel retrofitted projectors and halos, but that's too damn much work, lol.

Yeah, I love the look just not the functionality

There’s a lot of options! DIY can save a ton of money but you need to have some and patience! I don’t have those at least not the second one haha

No, I bought it from Amazon (both I’ve had).

I did swap my front 32" lightbar. I went from a Mictuning one (180W and 13,200lm) to a Offroad Town one (240W and 20,000lm). I only switched it out because I wanted one with a more blacked out look. It's a pretty subtle change but I like it a lot more. Both are really bright bit I think the Offroad Town is a decent amount brighter.

    [IMG] ->[IMG]

MicTuning link (on Amazon) - $39.99 is what I paid
Offroad Town link (no longer available on Amazon) - $75.99 is what I paid

Thanks!! I really appreciate it! Super detailed write-up coming soon for the @SouthernStyleOffRoad slimline hybrid bumper. I finished the install last night along with the write-up today. I'll be posting it in the next week once I get a chance to take some photos. I'm in love with this thing. 110% worth the wait.

Thanks! I love it! I got it used so at a great price but you can't go wrong with the ARE V series in my opinion even at the cost at new. There are definitely more glamorous options out there but at a lot higher costs. It's definitely not the flashiest but I think it looks great and does more than everything I need. I haven't had any problems at all and would highly recommend it.

I have the Z-series from ARE and love it too. Highly recommend getting the lighting kits, roof rack, and remote lock as well. I also got the 12v outlet and fishing rod holders, wouldn’t recommend the rod holders on either a 5’ or 6’ bed.

Updated OP! This was a big one! Finished installing my @SouthernStyleOffRoad bumper, winch, and light bar. I'm in love.

See here for a very detailed write-up that I did and a ton of photos (also in the OP of this thread)
