Bummer! musta been some tornado lol

My buddys got an old oil coleman, THAT thing is so og. Most certainly did not work in sub zero temps.

It seems to me like they are all pretty similar, although im sure there is more than what meets-the-eye. I would like to see something different, post your new one when you get it!

I was given a Camp Chef Everest stove for my birthday last year. Only had a couple chances to use it, but the 20,000 BTU burners are pretty sweet. Admittedly it's not the sturdiest construction though, the lid/windscreen are sort of flimsy.

I've got an ol' trusty green Coleman that I now have as a backup.
The new hotness for me right now is a Camp Chef 2x.
Two burners, with enough room in the center to either use some large pans, or even store a third.

It's rather large, but has legs so it's stand-alone, and even has a nice carrying bag.

Yeah, it was definitely a tough decision, but the smaller ones are just so cramped for space.

I made it work like so (in the black bag, on top of my folding table, with my two folding Bass Pro rockers on top of it):
    campingStorage01.jpg

Then a few more goodies go in on the left:
    campingStorage02.jpg

Then a few more on the right:
    campingStorage03.jpg

...then the bed extender goes down, and the cooler & firepit go in last:
    campingStorage04.jpg

That little firepit is currently being borrowed from my parents. We were deciding if we were ok with a propane pit, and I think we're going to get a slightly bigger one for ourselves.

By the way, if you hadn't noticed, all this storage is under the tonneau cover (17.5" height limitation on everything inside). I'm sure I'll rearrange things as time goes on, but this works for us now, and it's really quick to load up/out.

I got acoleman Triton stove at an REI used gear sale for something like $12.

Besides how much I paid for it the things I like about it are that it's lightweight. I paid very little for it so if it get's damaged I'm not super upset.

That's about it. It's kinda under powered and the cooking area is kinda small. I'm a chef so I'm used to high powered restaurant stoves and ovens. I don't really cook outside of work so the only time I cook is on the that stove.

On the other hand I've had it for about 5 or 6 years. It's been on 3 Baja trips. Since 2015 I've done 130 nights of camping ( a bunch of that is backpacking where I don't take this stove) but it's been used a lot and has never failed me.

haha yeah, but I didn't spend $150 on it. I believe it was down to $75 when I bought it on Black Friday.
Saw it down to $100 not too long ago with some sale Big5 had.

For the price, I do wish it had igniters though...

This is the best stove I have ever bought. Highly recommend. Never had a single issue, and the 20,000 BTU burners are no joke. You can cook just about anything.
