I entered a DROP program almost 6 years ago. I am retired whether I am ready or not. Looking at options now, but fishing, archery and the kayak should help fill the time. I will feel different if I have to go to work 5 days a week instead of 8 a month.

I had a friend help me which is better on wiring. We basically followed these instructions in this tread https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ass-homelink-smartphone-mirroring-mod.473033/. Also I did a different switch to togel between the two cameras. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PNO3AE/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It’s very doable just with patience.

Check out my post on a dual camera setup. Front and bed camera.

Also checkout this out. He makes a cable which you can plug into your head unit and display your video through the radio. It's doubles the cost but it's a lot cleaner looking.

    Cost and use of truck.

Imho, most ppl don't need icon coilover or the associated bling that usually goes along with this type of setup. Look at how you will use your truck and see if it warrants the extra cost of an icon or equivalent setup.

Some with claim icons or equivalents offer a better driving or off road experience. I doubt that difference will ever be noticed by a weekend warrior if there even is a difference.

    Nothing worthy

I spent a month living in a garage in Kalpana, I crave to go back on a daily. SO MUCH to do, especially compared to what i'm living in now (never ending winter) The Big Island is so incredible, for anyone to enjoy the mall over what Hawaii has to offer for activities is nuts.
I wish so bad I had an American citizenship to make the possibility of a move there a reality....

Your truck looks awesome with those flares and rocker guards! Where did you get them?

I guess I took all those things for granted being born and raised there. Obviously the mall is way different than what it used to be, but so is the big island. Hawaii will always be my home, but I don't think I can handle that slow paced lifestyle in this part of my life. Plus the theft is outta control right now and the drug epidemic is scary. I'm glad you love living there.

Got a Baja Kits GoPro mount and tested it out to see what kind of angle I get. Here’s a pic of the angle towards the suspension. Can’t wait to take it out on some trails and see that suspension work!
