I placed my order at 3:30(salt lake Utah time) and just got confirmation. My brother ordered a set at 10:30 that night and we are hoping that he gets his confirmation today too.

Replacement upper rear shock bushings. You would buy them if you want new bushings on the rear shock, as the kit does not come with new bushings. Factory bushings are probably more than fine to re use, but I’ll be getting them to reset the clock on mine. $17, and I’ll already be in there replacing the shocks, so might as well.

Ok I pulled the trigger on them. OEMpartsworld, back ordered of course, but I’m patient. Now to order a new leaf pack, and top mount spacer, UCA for fun. Need to ditch this old ProComp crap on my truck soon.

Thx for all the info hombres!

Are you guys also prepping for potentially seized LCA cam bolts?

Geez, what does that mean? Hesitating at the thought of opening a can of worms, please elaborate.

You should be fine in CA. Rust belt guys have issues. Mine (2013) were fine in OK and we see some snow. Just a couple months ago on alignment.

They are the adjustment bolts in your Lower Control Arm (LCA). I plan to pull mine anyway and grease them with anti-seize when i do it. Might as well, for future sanity. But i also have to weld my alignment tabs. Idiot shop flattened some on past alignment.

The LCA Cam alignment bolts and sleeves have the tendency to become seized on Tacoma’s in areas dealing with snow and salt treatments... Mine are pretty bad, and I just PB’d them, but it’s probably not going to be enough... It might be possible to still install the new coil over, but it might not be possible to get the right caster and camber alignment afterwards. The only want to get the bolts out (and sleeve out) at the last resort is to saw zaw the LCAs out then replace everything (OEM LCAs can be reused with new bushings, but it’s tedious and time consuming).

I still say get the trd suspension if it’s available, but just be prepared for the LCA issue.

You Don't have to mess with the LCA bolts to install this setup, you can if you want to but you Don't have to. I used a 4' pry bar to push the LCA down and didn't bother with the LCA bolts.

I've always removed the nut off the bottom of the upper spindle and hit the side of the spindle with a hammer and never had to mess with the LCA

The alignment shop (if their worth a shit) will get it aligned just fine.. If the alignment was good before the install then you won't have any issues getting it aligned.

Just found out mine shipped... I ordered last Friday... guy at OEM World said they had received 12 kits today. Good luck fellas that are just ordering. FYI they're some kits on ebay that are about $50 more than I paid. I would pull the trigger on one of those in a heart beat if I needed too...

Will be close...pulling for you. Might be worth a call to see if you made the cut despite the long hold time. An email might be quicker actually.
