    Yes, I know what you mean. I am leaning towards the "Skinny" tires as well, but I want to run them on the TRD Pro wheels in either 16" or 17". I realize that these are still considered "Stock" wheels, but a little wider stance than that of the stock OR wheels. I am hopeful that will work as well.

    Yeah I run 285 duratracs but we really don't see the white stuff much down where I'm at. Does it have to have that designation by law or preference?

    Preference. Once I wear out my OEM set & my winters, I just want to leave one set on all year round.

    Who, what, where now????? :rolleyes:

    Well sure enough finally spent 3bux on a tire pen and yep the kid at the shop set me at 38/39. Lost one of my metal aftermarket gasketed/o-ringed stem covers, another was loose and another was swapped with a plastic oem looking one. Guess i should have looked closer upon return of the vehicle. Dropped it to 32psi cold, will see if this improves ride, the wandering at 60mph. Will try 30psi next if this doesn't have a significant effect. Saw almost unnoticeable bowing out of the sidewall with this 6-7 psi drop. That was a concern. Should do a chalk test soon as I hope to ride these a long time. Haven't test driven it yet. Will report back.

    Not the highlighted size, I have the 40lb 115T.

    Have 2 years and almost 30K miles on them, love the tire for my needs just wish they came in 255/75 or 80/17.

    Reducing the pressure to 32 worked wonders and the sidewalls barely bowed. Softer ride, can feel familiar bumps in my road much less, less wandering at speed. Should have done this day one but as I said I was without a gauge. Going to go to 30, then chalk test.

    Looking at replacing my 255/80/17 ST Maxx with some Toyo Open Country AT2 255/80/17's, anyone running them? Can't get the Coopers to stop pulling right and I'm tired of dealing with it

    How are the tires making your truck pull right?

    I have no idea. Seems to be a problem with the ST Maxx in 255 size though. Many complaints of the same in the ST Max thread

    Alignment??? Never seen tires cause a vehicle to pull. Not saying it couldn't happen, but I would be looking lots of other places first

    @TravoHTX
    Same thought thats why I asked, I have seen and had them with a bad heavy spot to where a tire could not be balanced.

    Have you swapped tires side to side or front to back, with even psi all around. Along with having your alignment checked?

    I can see going from a 9.5 to 10.5 or 12.5 making it seem like it pulls. Just because all 3 tires ride the ruts in the road different.

    If its not hard pull then i wouldnt worry about it. The gm cars will drive straight at 55 for 5 seconds. Then are set up to drift right, that way when somone falls asleep they dont cross the center line.

    It's more common than you may think. Tires can vary in circumference, out of spec, broken belt, other manuf. defects and more can all cause a tire to make the vehicle pull to one side or another. A way to check and see if it's a tire and not the alignment is to swap the front tires from side to side and if the pull is the same then it's an alignment problem if it moves to the other side it's a tire issue. A good shop should warranty the tire(s) out to get rid of the pull
