It's an addition to the P. Just a small 3d printed+painted piece at the bottom. You can see e line if you look hard. Tired to keep as OEM as possible.

I noticed that and I can appreciate that. Did you get the base of the emblem off eBay or from a fellow pro owner?

So another little update...well I played around with my prinsu and decided to remove the first horizontal plank closest to the front.

Two reasons for this: the air distortion of the light bar needs a little more room to dissipate from the roof rack to mitigate further noise, the second is I have a sunroof and didn't want the hinderance of the bar being in the way when it was opened.

An oberservation when removing the front plank without the fairing is I have taken away enough struturability of the front part of the rack where it now can be slightly floppy and not rigid up front. I am going to play around with the single plank that comes with the rack and see if I can strategically insert it where it might make sense. Worst case it just wont be rock solid up at the very front like it is from the middle and back. As the testing will continue, I hope to find a solid configuration that will work for the long run but I am happy with the lack of noise currently.

Well it turns out some asshole who I took my truck to for an oil change in Dallas cross threaded my drain bolt. I’m not sure if my shit will drain or stay, but I get the feeling it’s going to have a slight leak. Go figure the one time I let someone change my oil in three years.

Chase the threads and it will probably be fine depending on how bad it was. Otherwise helicoil that thing and call it good.

What is helicoil? I’m still getting a small leak in it.

If you able to get it to thread well you could also use a fumoto valve, so you don't have to take it out each time you do an oil change, and use some thread sealant.

The most common usage for helicoils is to repair cross threaded spark plug holes. We used to go through them pretty fast on VW motors. I had a boss with an f150 that used to blow the spark plugs out about once a month.

Appreciate the info man...my original intention was to install my f103 fumoto valve but I didn't want to mess it up so I went with the drain bolt this time. Since the oil pan is 20 bucks I am doing a temp gasket sealer around the bolt until next oil change. After that Im going to swap out the pan.

I have always had an interest in setting up a front camera for better approaches on things and just to give better perspective when on trail. Im leaning towards the ebay one as for me I am pretty loaded up on buttons in the cab. The fact that this might be able to utilize the call button to cycle would be great as I never use it in my ride.

Don't know if anyone has considered getting a set up like this, but Im very strongly thinking about pulling the trigger soon.

Ah nice man and that totally makes sense. Since I got the screen on my dash I am eager to see how this works. I would go your route if I had to use the tablet though.

I installed these just before the weather went to shit this week.

These things are pretty cool, adds a little cushion like a topper does to a bed.

Getting the emblems ready for bro status...in case anyone is interested all you need is a thin exacto blade.
Use the blade To get underneath the letters and slowly wedge them off as you pry from underneath through out the letters.
