I’ve never had problems with oem. Or you could try one of these if you can get your hands on one.

Or say fuck it and go single piece driveshaft to eliminate the CB entirely. Then you’d have no vibes either. I think it’s called A1 driveshaft in Baltimore, but they can make you one.

hmmm. not a fan of the single piece, ive seen to many explode under load. going by the thread here, it looks like id need to make a small top plate to hold the bearing, but should be bolt on otherwise. also, truck is a DCLB, hence my reluctance to go single piece

I bought it when i intended to lift the full 3” and never did. I found out its easier to just stay oem and use the CB spacers such as OME’s kit.

If anyone wants that poly cb, let me know. I’ll have to grab a picture of it later.

Some people run them inverted with spacers or all the way down, depends on your lift and tire size and how much ground clearance you have/want to lose

I'm just wondering, a bunch of people bought them and decided to not install or had vibration issues after. My install is perfect, I have the slightest takeoff shudder, and that's it. If be really sad if the poly CB messed that up.

Actually, @AR15xAR10 can you get a measurement from the base of the mounting bracket, straight down, you roughly the Center of the hole for the driveshaft? That should give me an idea on angles and such.

I got a small crack in the windshield on my way to work. I hope it doesn’t form into a bigger one by the time I clock out.

    Anyone ever use safelite?

Haven't used them personally, but they don't have a great track record with the rally guys, a lot of thier chip repairs didn't last long before they failed.

I've seen nothing buy horror stories from friends who have used Safelite. Moreso for anything that wasn't front windshield replacement. Side windows and anything where they had to remove body panels was horrific.

I've used them to repair a small chip on my windshield before. Seemed to fix it, because it didn't spread anywhere.

I meant interior panels. Like door cards and trim. Not body panels.

It happened minutes before work started. The taco is in an assigned parking lot not near work, so my hands are tied until tomorrow morning. I’ll end up giving them a call and see what happens.

I appreciate all the feedback, fellas.

Who's your insurance? I have USAA, and they fixed it for free, no deductible and no raising of my rates. Did it all online too, which was easy.
