EDIT AND UPDATE: PLEASE SEE PAGE 7 POST 132 FOR UPDATE AND REPLY FROM IEDLS

THIS IS AN ONGOING GROUP BUY! THERE IS NO DEADLINE LIMIT! Group buy price for a minimum of 20 or more people at a time will cost a base price of $75 for the polyurethane carrier bearing plus additional California resident tax if you live in California and shipping. SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE WITHIN US AND CANADA. The provided warranty for part (given that the part is installed correctly) from Inland Empire Driveline Service, is 1 year (12 months) from the day it is purchased. For instructions on how to place yourself on IEDLS "Group Buy waiting list" please refer to this page of this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-carrier-bearing.421410/page-54#post-13133625

Initial group buy run has been agreed to by Jeff @ IEDLS to start at 40 buyers. After that, the Group Buy count will reset and the minimum will lower to 20 for each run.

    ONE MORE THING:

In order to avoid getting bumped out of the first 40 from the group buy due to the rapid increase in growth of the list I would strongly recommend leaving in the order email to IEDLS your username as well and have them reference your name to the initial group buy list to confirm that was you.

    PART NUMBER: 211590-1XS
    ID 1.181"

After doing my Polyurethane Carrier Bearing mod and posting all the options over for 4X4 Taco's ONLY, a lot of people seem to be very interested in doing this mod to theirs based on my very positive feedback about it. The bearing they use is sealed so there is no need for additional shielding to prevent from dirt and debris. THIS IS A 100% BOLT ON MOD for DCLB Tacoma's (DCSB and A/C Taco's may require additional modding, and/ or brackets be created in order to mount them up correctly.

Please see image below provided by @nd4spdbh to determine if you will need to create some sort of relocation bracket or not. Once again DCLB will bolt right up to the original mounting points of the crossmember.

Information about DCSB mounting as per @nd4spdbh:
"It will work exactly the same as the DCLB in the original post.

The difference would come if you want to mount the driveshaft at the same position as the stock cb (vertically in the frame). The DCSB / AC has a slightly different crossmember that allows an extra mounting option of above the stock location.

See my picture in the group buy thread."

However, the only disclosure I do have for you if you do this mod (For DCLB) is that you will have to create some sort of upper crossbar to lock the polyurethane carrier bearing assembly in place to keep the bushing from bouncing out of the housing as the driveshaft spins. The minimum plating needed to keep it firm and secure is 1/8" See photo's below to see what I mean. DCSB may need to have some revisions done to fit correctly due to it's carrier bearing mounting design:

    20160308_212314_zps9i7uzpmd_42c2712d725c73a8e928b740fcab22caeb0f10ca.jpg

Installed, and upper crossbar in place ABOVE the carrier bearing and poly bushing. Minimum plating needed to keep it firm and secure is 1/8". This is a very easy modification to do. Grab some extra plating if you have some lying around and use the carrier bearing bottom support as a template on where to drill the holes. Do not tack weld in place as the carrier bearing assembly is meant to be open like that for serviceability purposes.

Hey @nd4spdbh I know you were mentioning wanting to replace yours because of vibes and an overall crap feeling while driving with the stocker. Are you game?

You can always fabricate up some sort of offplate which taps into the stock bolt holes and basically just extends out where it needs to.

    oh im game for sure.

I would also note that this will lower the driveshaft by quite a bit as the tabs of the CB are at one end of the mount rather than the centerline of the CB.... this is easily fixed on the DCSB / Access cab truck by mounting it above the stock mount.... not so much on the DCLB.
