If it’s a relatively small group and you have room I’d be interested.

I’m kind of over the big group stuff right now. Too much bullshit and takes too long. If it’s a smaller group with solid people I’m always down to try and make it.

You should come dude. Its a super fun trail. Can be pretty hard and has risk for damage.
I like small trail run groups. But I do still like camping in the desert with large groups. Then its mostly about checking out trucks, meeting some cool new peeps, and partying.

Well if we work on a date I’ll put it in the calendar and I’ll be there. Sounds like its up my alley of trail choice recently. I guess this comes down to if you and Danny break something before then.

@tetten has one and he's gonna make us all go broke copying his truck.lol
I can't wait to do Dusy Ershim and check out all the other trails around Shaver Lake. Get that front fixed up with a locker if you want to do Dusy. Gonna have to cap that trip at 5 maybe 6 trucks.Ill keep you in the loop as planning happens.

either going to with the high pinion Dana 60 or the ford 9"

    https://www.currieenterprises.com/TA-F9325R

Pro: back bracing is only a $350 option for them to truss the who axle.
Center section pulls out from the axle housing just like the toyota 8".
on the pinion there is a 3rd support bearing. Which has not been proven to improve anything over the dana 60.
Pinion and gear depth is greater over the dana 60.

Con: It is about $1,000 more than going with a Dana 60.
the 3rd member set up with ARB locker is $2,320 and does not appear to be in the correct gear ratio. they have a 4.57 or a 4.86 on their website. so I'm not sure how this is going to work.

    Approx. $4,900

    https://www.currieenterprises.com/ta-rjiiir-2

Pro: Vast improvement from the toyota 8"
gears and carrier with bearing set up and install is $1,579.15 ($740 cheaper than ford 9")

Con: Truss Support kit is $899 (if you choose to do this. Even the back bracing on the ford 9" may even be over kill for the truck weight and use)
shallower pinion and gear depth comparted tot eh 9" (But still very unlikly go break with 35's and 4.0 v6)

    Approx $4,000

the debate can go on and on.

3.73 stock gears. haven't put much thought into price. I will need the brakes off of this axle to transfer over to my new one but comes with axle shafts, bearings and all. just drum brake assemblies and brake lines would have to be transferred over.

Or leave mine completely assembled and transfer the brake components off of your old axle.
