I’ve got a Manual 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro. Does the automatic also have atrac or just crawl control?

Welcome to TW OP. One thing you will quickly notice on this site is anytime there is mention of MT in a thread title those that own a MT will descend like locusts while those with AT will largely ignore it. FWIW. Good luck on your purchase.

I came from a c6 z06 (got married and baby on the way i know i know) to my truck. MT in the truck honestly was horrible to me, i had never owned an AT before but i always rowed sports car. Way different, the truck required much more shifting up and down because you had to shift not just because you wanted to shift (not sure i’m explaining myself right), not the same fun factor at all. This is in my opinion due to my experiences, FOR ME it wasn’t right. My wife drives an auto x5 diesel x drive, my AT is no where near as buttery smooth but i’ve had zero problems with it or annoyances.

Pics because pics are always required:

The other difference is that the Vette can pull you up a hill at 1k rpm in 6th. Not really fair to compare them:)

I agree, that’s why it wasn’t fun, for me. I had my heart set on an MT in cement and i passed on the one i found. Difficult decision but happy, don’t regret it at all.
