So I've created this build thread to carry on what @suttonkb started with this truck. He has done an incredible job, and we will see where the mods take us in the future.

Did a real small mod this weekend after camping and having some lighting troubles. Ran power to behind the rear seats and put in some LED lights. The adhesive wasn't good enough to stick to the tacoma plastic, so for the time being, the lights are stuck to some gorilla tape.

@Italia234 Absolutely! Actually now that you mention it, I'm pretty set on selling my bumper and trading in for a bumper with a tire carrier. Would you have any interest in buying the pelfreybilt bumper off me? I was going to post in classifieds but I'm too much of a newb to do it yet (not yet 50 posts). It's in great condition, no scratches or dents... I was thinking 75% of the new price would be fair. Let me know if you're interested.

There's some space on mine between the body and the bumper you'll see, that's so that the natural movement of the body/frame independently doesn't result in you crushing your body panel.

Went to Hollister, CA this weekend to do some wheeling and get more familiar with the manual in low range. It was rainy which made it all the more fun! I even got to laugh at my jeep buddy for having something break (again!). Douchey flexing pics included with pleasure.

Over the last month or so I've managed to make a few changes.... I followed @inesshell 's snorkel install and it turned out better than I had hoped. There were a few areas where I had to improvise but it worked out well.

I also installed the Pelfreybilt high clearance rear bumper in place of my old Pelfreybilt standard rear to have a place to put my tire. I did the cutting and installation of this bumper at 11pm before leaving the next morning at 6am for death valley!

Gotta close up pic of the front of the snorkel? Just curious on the gap between the snorkel and the fender. Did you fill the hap with something? Looks good and clean.

Hey man, I used FIPG aka gasket maker around the edges of the snorkel to get a good seal. I can take some close up pictures for you, it worked out very well.
