I have a 2008 trd sport, quad cab, long bed. OME coils in the front, Dakar’s in the rear. When turning hard left, from a stop, and under acceleration, I get a pretty noticeable clunk/thunk coming from the front left. It only does when turning left under acceleration from a stop, as turning left from a stop sign. It did this before the lift, but I reckon it’s gotten worse. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks. I’ll check them. It just seems odd that it’s only on left hand turns under acceleration.

There was a thread from back in '10 or so that was about this, big discussion. I think it ended up being the bushings on the steering rack. I'll see if I can find the link and post it. Are you having loose steering as well?

    Edit:

    These should hopefully help.

This was the original thread that I found, but they all cover the same issue

Is it only under hard acceleration? if you turn the wheel hard to the left and casually drive forward is it a problem?
