    You have three choices.
    Run the dam thing. If it blows you found the problem.
    Or
    Rent a little dyno time and load it up so you can try to use a stethoscope on it.
    Or
    Buy a set of portable/wireless engine ears and use them.

    Your not going to find a boosted noise at idle.

    So start replacing parts??? I don’t think so.

    Your rotors might be wearing out...
    Just a thought
