i think we all don't want to get rid of our trucks haha since my AC won't be good for the future family, I leaning toward keeping it as my week end warrior/hunting/fishing/camping rig and get something more comfortable for kiddos lol

 

@twheat40 That thread you posted earlier started to get interesting now it is a bunch of GIFs and MEMEs. It'll be fun to see where it goes.

 

Wait what those things are only meant for a weekend rig? Damn now what am I going to do for a daily. I wish I knew that before I bought the truck.

Ran the cb antennae cable into the cab from the bumper.

Hell yeah we are, and I want to do some camping there too, either Friday or Saturday night. Preferably Saturday night.

Ok perfect, I was leaning towards Saturday Night camping as well. I don't get out of work until 5:30 which would put me at Rasuch pretty late if I did Friday night camping.

I think you cb has an integrated swr tuner. It would be good to verify how good your signal is from the front bumper!

 

Here’s a link to the thread I used for my fold down tire carrier. So far so good. It doesn’t rattle around to much and is pretty easy to operate. Definitely a good solution for around a hundred bucks and a little cutting.
