I can see how they would. But they're not going anywhere I love how they kick the tires out.

Ya, you should be able to clear it with no problem! I would just take the spacers out cause I think it’s pushing it too far out. If that still don’t work, I highly suggest going with 0 offset.

 

No I like how the tires are out a bit. Just need to cut more!

 

I can't mess with the spacers and this stance ya'll. So I guess some more cutting is happening this weekend.

Here's a good thread on it. The tl;dr version is to beat it outwards, and work your way up and down the weld as you hammer it. It's a stout bitch and will take some serious hammering. I used a small 3lb sledge on mine.

As you can see, it’s only a small amount that was taken off. Shop painted it so people can’t even tell it was cut unless I tell em and they look real close to find the welds.

That looks nice. When I get mine welded the driver side is not going to look pretty. I was a little over zealous and it was only the 2nd time I had used an angle grinder and I cut too much in the bottom. It was a big mistake and I still hate myself for it, especially after how easy it was to do the passenger side. The trick is to make the bottom cut first. Any way, you can see the bad cut it in this photo.

 

Eh. Plate will cover it and you'll never know.

My OCD will make me look at it whenever I'm down there for any reason.

 

you didn't cut too much you can cut alot more. If you have plans on going larger in tire size you'll have to anyway.

I replated with 3/16 steel it's at the least as strong as stock if not stronger. everything is welded solid top and bottom
