    I don't know about the yellow wire mod, but on the off roads when I did the locker anytime, I could use it in 2hi or 4hi in addition to 4lo. When I used the locker, all abs and stability control systems shut off.
    There is also a mod on the off roads to kill the abs in any mode by tricking the ecu into thinking that 4lo is engaged. I never did that one, but it was on the list. Sports have the option to do this too, but a different procedure.

    I just went back and re-read the thread. The ABS kill switch is a different mod. Dont think I have any intetests in doing the yellow wire mod as I have yet to get stuck and have been able to negotiate everything thrown at the truck so far. Doesnt mean I wont do it down the road but for now Im leaving it alone.

    I'm replacing the driver side mirror on my WRX. :boom: This afternoon when it warms up I have a large steel plate to clean and start painting. Hopefully, get it done by tomorrow. I need to figure out how I'm setting it up, so I can paint all sides of it.

    yep.... I looked at the aftermarket options and they had mixed reviews and only saved me $40ish from the OEM.... so for only $97 I grabbed the OEM visors.... the OEM Thule Roof rack only set me back $350, and I grabbed the All Weather mats as well along w/ the rear bumper applique and the rear cargo mat.... protection first. haha

    From what I am understanding, yes.
    Actually traction control/limited slip is on all the time. Pushing the traction control button turns it off. Traction control cannot come on in 4Lo until you do the yellow wire mod
