What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Earlier in the week I stopped in at local auto shop that has a great reputation from some friends and coworkers.
We discussed different options and I booked their earliest spot for this morning.

They took care of me bigtime....and in a fairly quick timeframe.

Flowmaster Super44 & tip installed.

I've driven around town a bit since....nowhere that I could get up over 60. I'll test it out this afternoon on the interstate. I like the sound. It makes me grin. That's all that matters to me. I'm sure there are many other options I could have gone with, but I liked the shop owner's advice and got some pointers from a guy at work who did the same with his Tacoma.

I have night blue metallic, which is very similar to the BBP paint color.

 

What is the part number of the door sill protectors? Can you post a photo of the decals and the door sill letters?

 

Love the look of that stance. Wheel & Tire size? Lift?

 

Thank you, It has a Fabtech Adjustable Coilover kit, with 17x8.5 Ray 10's and Tires are BFG 275/70/17 k02's....I will be going to 285's in the near future.

 

I love it man! It’s awesome. Easy up, easy down, waterproof, and no rubbing the tailgate at all.

Have to get rid of that plastic POS. You would think that Toyota could have found a better place to squeeze the Buffalo on a nickle until it shit! Between that and that butt ugly chrome toy rear bumper they really dropped the ball.

From the relatively short time that I've participated here at TW I think the Mods have done a pretty good job of letting the boys and girls "play on."
I also think that for the most part we as a whole have done a pretty good job of policing our selves. It's all good!

@Parker315 man thats a nice truck, the throttle commander sounds a little gimicky to me, any info ( you like it? was it worth it for the price? does it basically do like the OVTune or something?) are you MT or AT? great truck man but you lost me with the "rock lights"..

Hey Thanks, man! Yeah, the rock lights aren't for everyone. They are just a subtle mod that are on only when I want them. Millions of different color combinations and strobe patterns. You'd never know I had them until I turn them on.

Actually, the Pedal Commander isn't a gimmick at all. I was very surprised myself. It doesn't give you more HP or Torque it just creates faster throttle response. Its like driving a Tesla lol as soon as you barely touch the throttle it takes off so it seems like more power, but it's not. Just removes the delay. I've had 3 friends get one after they drove my truck. I'm more AT than MT

 

@Parker315 thanks for the info man gives me something to think about..been trying to decide if i want to do the OVTune ( the cost is a factor)... and you're right the lights are only there for when you need them...
