In the description it says they go on the fixed end of the leaf spring. How come u can't put it on both ends? Is it cuz the zerk will interfere with the movement of the shackle or something? I mean as long as u out it facing away from the frame u should be good?

You can purchase 3 kits and put the 3rd kit where the shackle attaches to the mount. I don't see any problem with attaching it at both points on the spring. I think that is them more cya and getting a scape goat if the zerk were to break. Your assessment is spot on!

sweet. what would the true benefit to this be? don't these bolt pass thru a sleeve? so essentially you would be filling the void with grease keeping dirt out, might prevent the bolt from rusting and prevent the possibility of squeaks? would it really be beneficial with the oem set up or more for is your running poly bushings?

So all it is really designed for is to prevent the bolt from seizing to the sleeve like you said. Yeah it can be beneficial in that manner even on a stock bushing. Now even my poly bushings have solid sleeves so no grease gets to the bushing but on a poly bushing you could drill a hole or two to allow grease to get to the bushing. Do you really need that not really. This is how I treat my poly bushings on install and have never had an issue. I put some moly grease on the outside of them and where the sleeve passes through. I see a benefit in this bolt for not having the possibility of seized bolts. But for every suspension bolt I install I coat the part that passes through a sleeve in antiseize to help prevent that, but eventually that will not be there hence a greasable bolt option. Trailer manufacturers especially boat trailer ones have been using these for a long time since they are constantly being submerged in water.

I'm dealing with bolts being seized inside sleeves right now haha those bolts that go thru sleeves in those arm things that stick up and prevent the leafs from moving side to side (I think that's what they are for) hahaha well the bolts are stuck in the sleeve and I need them out for when I go to install my AAL lol I bought new bolts but I need to salvage the sleeves.

they aren't mounted anymore, I have them in my living room, I should be able to get away with just soaking them or spraying them with some PB. they aren't like super seized, some of them I can turn kinda hahaha just stuck in the sleeve. worse comes to worse I will have to heat them but I will need a vice or something to hold them. I might actually buy a vice and mount it to the bench in the garage if I can find one for a good price.

HUGE difference between the two. AZ is a dry heat and totally awesome. FL not so much. You sweat all the time.
