BCM has some quality stuff! Have an upper and two low profile gas blocks from them.

Depends on how gentle you are. I would use a new one just because they are cheap and plentiful, but if you can drift out the roll pin holding it in and free it from the A2 sight with minimal fuss, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to reuse it.

Sweet I'm sure the local gun shop has them if I need them.

I always change out my gas tubes when I change barrels and when I went from A2 handguards to a geissle handguard and no FSB.

I'll let others chime in if you really need too. I have assembled some AR's but with my competition rifles I let my gunsmith handle everything.

He answered for me! I am not gentle when working on AR's.

The AR15 is easy enough to build, the key components you need that's not a simple tool like a hammer or screwdriver are:
    • Roll pin punches
    • A good vise
    • a upper and lower vise block
    • a good torque wrench
    [IMG]

I built myself this rifle from scratch, installed barrel, gas block, rail, etc. and shot sub-MOA with it. It was chambered in 6.8 SPC because I had a hankering for an exotic caliber.

I think the only thing that was preassembled was the forward assist and dust cover came already installed on the upper.

It's really just a test of your attention to detail, and ability to research and tackle issues that may arise.

I'm looking forward to building one of my Aero lowers into an M16A4 clone.:D

I have a 2A titanium low pro gas block I'd sell for $50 shipped.
    https://2a-arms.com/collections/gas-blocks/products/2a-titanium-gas-blocks

Also have a brand new Ergo grip. Very comfortable in the hand. $20
    https://www.brownells.com/rifle-par...-prod72627.aspx?avs|Manufacturer_1=ERGO+GRIPS

Magpul MOE vertical front grip in black. $10
Magpul SL-K stock in black $30

Buy it all and I'll pay shipping and include a JP Rifles charging handle.
