My truck is stock and I have stuttering under the same circumstances as you - perhaps not as severe as yours though.
    1.03C 91 file.

I can say for sure that I do not experience a stutter stock but am also a later ECU than you. Seems also that not everyone is experiencing this stutter however at that rpm it would drive me nuts as one of my two complaints is the truck lacks power in 6th and 5th climbing hills. With this stutter the power you gain at those RPMs is basically useless for climbing if you’re forced to shift to get out of the rev range.

I can't remember who, but I know some people were wondering how the truck does with this tune in 4hi and 4lo. Today I went out on some trails after going shooting and while I didn't run into anything too technical or challenging because I was too lazy to properly air down, 4hi and 4lo performed as expected. In some moderately deep sand, I had no problems in both 4hi and 1st and 2nd gears in 4lo. For what it's worth though, I would be very worried if those low gears couldn't pull me through lol

Idk what else to say because I cant really remember what specifics people were curious about. The truck performed as it should and with more "strength" I guess you could call it, for lack of a better word, than it did on the stock tune in the past. Small hill climbs didn't require as much throttle to maintain good power, and larger climbs got me up further before needing to downshift to complete. Don't know if there's anything else to add

have you had the stutter or low throttle instability before testing? during testing?

    Glad to hear.
I'm excited for my trip to Moab to really push things. I will be doing Lock Heart Basin and Elephant Hill.

Negative to both questions. A couple days after I initially flashed 1.03B, I thought I caught a hint of stutter, but I failed to replicate it, ever. I even went as far as to imitate the conditions that people were describing, such as specific rpms in specific gears, driving off immediately following cold start, etc. Could not replicate the issue, and this continued over to 1.03C for me.

Thank you! I need to swap to sliders though. Getting tired of scraping the predator steps every time I crest a hill lol they're certainly sturdy and well made though. No bending or damage even though I've certainly gouged the earth enough

I got my dongle and am taking video of the installation process since there seem to be so many people with questions in the Alpha thread.

Hopefully I'll get my license key tomorrow and can finish it up and post the video!

Same experience here and also with AFE and Spec-U.

I towed about 4000lbs yesterday, I’m ready for a full Otto tune for towing. I was trying to reverse up an incline in the dirt and even 4Low was struggling unless I stabbed the throttle. It would almost certainly make pulling a trailer from a stop easier with the additional torque under 3000rpm and 30% throttle.

Really it's not that bad. I think getting all the drivers and dongle crap makes it a bit overwhelming for newbies. With the new flash manager that should resolve all that.

i've successfully flashed and am sitting here idling for a bit. 91 tune on my 18 pro. I'll go for a test drive here in about 10 minutes.

Getting it set up is by far the most difficult part of the entire thing. After the first flash, it’s super easy going forward. Well unless windows updates and breaks something. That’s why I’ve got a dedicated flashing set up with everything disabled. I hate windows. :annoyed:

    Get this tune....wow.

Definitely how the truck should have been from Toyota. I need to run some tanks through it for final judgement but I’m pleased.
