What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Haha, I've needed them for awhile now. May just go with vinal or whatever material it is, so I can just house it out.

 

Anyone know the thread pitch for the shift knob? Not at the shop and gonna buy a tap if needed.

 

It's an m12 but I cannot remember if it is fine thread or coarse, pretty sure it's fine though

4Runners have different hood clearances than us, so that may or may not fit. It's still a common battery size so I doubt you'll see much of a difference in CCA or AH. Dual battery might be better if you're thinking of highload devices like winches. High amp alt is always a good upgrade though.

 

You or anyone know of the best dual battery kit? I thought about putting one in my bed since I am going to have a lot of lights etc on the back and rear of Truck anyways!

 

better to just piece your own together. Cheaper too and not overly hard to do.

That is the point I was making in another thread about shackles like the warn brand. Good on his part for using his head.

For any one wondering if they over loaded a shackle. The pin will bend in rare cases, most times the bell or horse shoe will distort a d sometimes go straight.

 

Got a winch cover, hopefully keep mud and UV from messing with my line too much.
