Anybody got a list of recommended torque specs for the new lift equipment? Just wanna double check all torque specs now that I drove about a hundred miles on new setup.

I should mention: I added the one inch strut spacers in the front and 2 inches in the rear [1" rake]. This could have contributed to the needle bearing failure. ECGS bushing and seal will be here tomorrow and will tackle it Thursday.

Installed mine over the weekend, along with new tires/rims. So excited, I think it turned out great! I had never messed with suspension on a truck before but I thought it went pretty well. Probably took 3 hours for the front and 2 for the rear. I bought HS progressive AAL but did not install yet, wanted to see how it would look without...but plan on installing soon. Went from stock tires 265/65/17 to 255/85/16. Measurements are listed as: stock /with lift / lift & tires. Ground to fender.

    Driver front: 34 1/2 --- 36 1/2----38
    Pass front: 34 5/8 ---- 36 1/2----38
    Driver rear: 35 5/8-------------------37 1/4
    Pass rear: 35 3/4 -------------------37 3/8

Being new to suspensions in general, a question... is the OEM needle bearing (or ecgs bearing if installed) actually in direct contact with the spinning drivers side axle?

Tires are great so far. For the price they cant be beat, hope to get 40k out of them. They have some hum going down the road but with radio on it's barely noticeable. I was worried they'd be really stiff but I think it rides like a truck now, stock tires were too soft. Still playing with air pressure, have it at 34/32. What pressure you running yours?

Running mine at 34/37. I know it is weird to run higher in the rears but I saw some posts recommending starting around there. Might be why I'm getting so much hum from the rear. I still need to dial it in.

I'm sure it is. Not much difference between 2nd and 3rd gen frames as far as I know.

Contacted Toyota of Des Moines, where I got my set from. Stand up guys there. No hassle and right off the bat layed it all out for me. They went way above and beyond my expectations to get this resolved and kept me a happy customer.

Bottom line...they emailed me a prepaid shipping label to send the mismatched shock/spring back. They are ordering the correct spring and will have their tech do the spring swap out and will mail it back when done.

They did mention that since the set is discontinued, the springs are also very limited in quantities. So I would start checking your springs to make sure they are correct and get them addressed while they last!

The axle shaft goes through the OEM needle bearing and ECGS bushing. See picture. You could also think of it like a collar if that helps you visualize it.

1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4Runner, Sequoia; frames are frames. Just use good common sense and be smart. Don’t rely on floor jacks alone while wrenching underneath on anything.

As the window to get one of the TRD Pro kits was closing, on a whim I placed an order on Amazon. They showed "Out of Stock" but I figured, what the heck. Placed an order. It has been sitting there since 3/1. Just got this update tonight. Not gonna hold my breath that it will actually show up...but it is progress.
