That's a new one for me. I'm still thinking about getting one of these for my non-wireless charging phone:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074SHBXC5/?coliid=I3958YZHRRDXGC

But then, I like the Hondo Un-holey Mount and Waze too much.

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but there are two perfect slots/cutouts molded into the plastic bed-sides that fit 2x6” lumber for constructing a sleeping platform, dividing the cargo space top-to-bottom, or securing loads requiring wood bracing.

Heck yea. Its easier to listen to other types of digital format for sure but for audiophile guys like me, most Cd’s are recorded much better. Slip one in and see for yourself. I started years ago with using software to convert digital files to more of a uncompressed format but its just a PIA.

One of my old coworker actually used to install record players in some cars. That was a new one for me. Ripped out plenty of old shaft radios though. Some were 8 track players I believe

For the record, the CD player sounds really good in the non-JBL TRD Taco. Better fidelity than the Bluetooth, even with a high quality DAP, at least to my ears.

I agree with you, but the whole PITA part wins out, even over bringing CDs along.

Sure does. I have the JBL entune and i just hate the sound quality of BT music through the system. Sounds 10x better playing a CD. I’m dealing with the poor sound quality because of the PIA. Makes me mad every time I get in the truck. In my critical listening 2.1ch in my home Id never dream of using poor quality compressed formats unless I want background music.

Alright I’m gonna feel like a dick if I don’t say that I was just kidding with the QI charger. Just wanted to see who actually went outside and tried it lol

It was fun, but you're right. That said, all the good info is in the first post. About the only digging to be done is for the videos in that thread or the original.
