    I may come out. I have a old cb radio in the attic not sure if it is working. I would need an antenna. I have a park and also high school right down the street to if a place is needed. I will it down and check if it is working, and find out what else I need.

    I think I am going to try and find a Cobra 75 WX... Just can't get used to the idea of permanent mounting the one I have now. Any know of any good deals? 99$ seems to be the norm.

    More than welcome 16th is the day we are looking at.
    If it's an older one, probably full size, like aftermarket in dash stereo unit,
    it will very difficult to find mounting location, that looks decent within cab of truck.
    MOST ITEMS;
    some of us are placing a bluesea ST Blade Fuse Block pn#5025
    some radio's have a PA system/horn install
    CB: cobra 75 all in one, or compact cb, mutliple brands is what most have or order.
    antenna
    antenna mount ( I have bed rail mount for less 3$) pic look at my camera profile.
    coax to fixed antenna mount- 3/8-24 thread / SO 239 to PL 259 (pic) $8 at Rsh@ck
    coax cable aleast 18ft RG58 A/U cable ( I have a new one for sale for $20)

    Yes I thought about putting mine there, but I going to a little tighter location.
    to right of the steering wheel, one pocket befoe the center, within 4/5 inches of iginiton key.
    I unsanpped the pocket, and it fits, unit is 1 inch out from bottom, the mic cord outlet is the only concern, the keys will rattle next to it.
    On cell phone, no pics will have Friday to post.

    Goodnight fellow taco's!

    It is a fairly compact "radio shack" branded radio. It actually works pretty well, I just can't make up my mind where to mount it.

    Yeah, see that is what I was going to do with the one I have now, but decided against it. I have a ton of JUNK in my center console and digging the MIC out when I need to use it is not going to work for me. and... I need all the Junk! :D
