I’ve seen some work done by others on this forum and it’s ok, but these are some of the coolest mods I’ve seen ! Awesome job real works of art , when you get the auto knob let me know I’m def in!

 

Finally it came in!

Awesome craftsmenship, perfect design (shape, size, finish, fitment), very unique and worth every buck. Excellent customer service btw.

Like others have commented it improves shift feel quite a bit, and feels much more comfortable to rest on when not shifting.

I also like the fact that it accents some of the chrome bits on the interior (vent rings, door handles and shift knob lower ring, etc). Its a really sharp lookin knob!

Oh and I think it matches my center caps too. Check out the pics.

There are three very important differences in shift knob types. Every buyer needs to understand the difference between V1, V2, V3 before purchasing one of my knobs (this largely applies to both Automatic and Manual).

V1 knob (AT only) = Buy this if you want the OEM 3rd Gen Toyota connection, it works with OEM chrome boot collar just like the knob that came with your truck. This is what the OEM chrome AT boot collar looks like (the chrome plastic pc between the fingers).

V2 knob= This design works for AT or MT. My design, which requires the OEM chrome boot collar to be removed from the shift boot and replaced with my own engravable boot collar. V2's will work with 3rd Gen, 2nd Gen, T4R and Tundra. 2nd Gen MT Tacoma boot collar is slightly different from 3rd Gen, so be sure to let me know what year your truck was made if I forget to ask.

V3 knob (MT only)= Buy this if you want the OEM 3rd Gen Toyota connection, it works with OEM chrome boot collar just like the knob that came with your truck.. This is what the OEM chrome MT boot collar looks like, and my V3 knob will lock into it as well as completely cover the chrome. 3rd Gen only.

Sweet, looks great. How's the extra weight?

 

The weight is pretty substantial. Make engaing the gears a lot smoother, the shifter just kind of glide into positions. On the same token however, due to the extra weight, you do get less feel for the shifting. But overall, I think it's a good trade off. I think the sweet spot is a titanium version that split the weight difference between this and the aluminum version.

 

I'm thinking something like this can work for the AT knob.

Should be able to fit two 6-32 socket head cap screws in here to hold it to the knob ...

Random question though... any chance of a Delrin option? I live in Phoenix and we are sort of a blast furnace for half the year, and as pretty as your engravings are I really do not need them branded into my hand.

When I had my WRX I bought a "duracon" (aka Delrin) knob for it ages ago (a souvenir from Japan actually) and I love it. Hell, I would put it in my Tacoma if it wouldn't look bonkers out of place.
