Haha thanks! Goodbye truck money that’s for sure lol. But luckily I have my truck exactly how I want it minus a few small things.

Yeah, I heard that as well. Maybe I will get lucky...if not I may go with the Stealth6 instead.

Goodness gracious, it’s about time you posted a picture with the new cap. Ha ha. Looks great. I went with Yakima bars on my truck. My RTT fits on there perfectly. Plenty of pics on my profile if you need ideas.

Thanks! It’ll be a few months before I do anything so it’ll give me time to think it over.

We've been using this, "Prince Lionheart 2 Stage Seatsaver". About $25 on Amazon. Its got a lip around the back to keep stuff from getting between the seats and to help retain liquids. It saved my seats a month or so ago when my son spewed some milk.

    Hey love the truck!
Question did the UCAs make a difference? Really don’t wanna spend the money but don’t wanna stress the OME suspension.
And I am also running the 888 without a bumper and it dosnt seem to sit level as yours does just course if you added anything to lift the front.

Hey - as far as the UCAs, I get better articulation on the trails over stock, not sure if that answers your question. And as far as the lift, I didn’t add anything to the front. Just the coils and springs, no spacers.

The articulation helps with getting out of binding they also help with getting a proper alignment out of the stock cam bolts.

I've been constantly debating on whether or not to go to 255s or 285s. Your setup makes those 255s look amazing! I've been worried that the 255s would look great from the sides, but lame from the front and back, but yours looks great! You might have swayed my decision

I have been debating the same thing, and I agree with you that her setup definitely has me on the fence. I also worry about all the trimming and cutting usually required for 285s.

    Thank you!
It was one of my concerns too. I think the 16x8 wheel helps a little to push the tire a little wider. No regrets here though. I love running 255s.

You’ll probably still have to do some light trimming with the 255s, mostly plastic.

Finally found a more realistic solution for my CB mic mount. The magnetic mounts with 3M tape couldn’t last with the hot temperatures of MS. Hondo Garage came to the rescue with their mount. It’s a little pricy, $50 for everything, but it’s solid. Thought it was going to be plastic and it’s aluminum. Great design and love that it can easily be removed and relocated if needed. Install took 2 minutes.

Yeah, I was worried about the CMC; didn't really want to go down that road unless I had to. I will be running the 17x8.5 Ray10 (just got them!) instead of the 16's...I wonder if that might make a difference?

That's what I figured. I already run 1.25" Spidertrax spacers with my stock size tires, so I'm thinking that might help with the 255s also. Thanks!

As I understand, with stock suspension and stock wheels (TRDOR) you can run 255s with no rubbing. Look at this forum:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/put-255-85-16s-on-stock-or-wheels-and-suspension.491079/

Also, I've read that when you lift with 255s, then you start running into rubbing issues.

Now, I have wheel spacers, so I don't know if that plays a part at all. But my intent with the 255s was to put them on directly without the need for a lift in an attempt to get the most use out of my stock suspension. Let me know if you discover anything different.
