To each his own. Looking at his profile he doesn’t have anything on there that he’s a vet. Civilian its facing the right way, for most vets its facing the wrong way because it should be assaulting forward. My fiancé votes that its right just the way its going, but I would have flipped it if it was on my truck.

 

No those Toyota emblems pop off.

 

Yup they pop off and I peeled the decal off the paper and stuck it on. It sticks well.

 

HAHA. I actually was thinking of doing the same thing. I have the paint but just didn't take the time to pull the emblems. I have a set of the TRD resin emblems on the way and may install those or paint the emblem later. That's the great part about dipping is that you can always go back and change it up.

 

If I do it again, I will definitely use playing/index cards to mask the tires. Thanks

Installed the TRD Pro grille on my silver sport yesterday. Not sure I 100% like it over the stock. Perhaps I need the black OR chin on the bottom as well?
Thoughts?

Can you tell much of a difference in looks? I really wanted the 275 but not guna if it's rubbing. What setup do you have?

 

I really like the look of the Pro grilles. Especially on the QS and silver tacos. The stock grill is just wrong on the QS and it washes out the front end of the silver. You could always dip/paint the stock grille to tone down all that chrome too.

 

Thought about that too, but pro grille > painted stock grill? I'm on the fence with the grilles

How much lift do you have or planning? I had 265s and looked fine when I leveled the truck but once you go higher than 1” in the front, I think the 265s look small. I went up to 275s and now lifted a little over 2” in the front, had very minor rubbing when stuffed during a turn and only cut a small piece of the plastic fender and now all good. I think the looks on the tires are noticeable and better on the 275s

 

Yes. Pro grille for sure. It looks like that’s what was supposed to come on the truck. They could have fancied up the pro edition differently, but this is how it should have had this grille on originally.
