    Hello Tacoma World,

My name is Maverick, Tacoma owner turned entrepreneur. I recently started to design and manufacture mounting platforms that accommodate the industries most popular electrical accessories.

    • Specifically designed for the Toyota Tacoma, PowerTrays are water-jet cut out of 1/8" Aluminum.
    • Instead of the traditional 90° bend offered by others, PowerTrays are bent 100°. This additional 10° allows the tray to match the angle of the inner fender and alleviates the stress caused by an improper fit.
    • Most importantly, PowerTrays are aided by an additional support leg that secures the far side of the tray to the lower fender. By offering a 3rd mounting point, the PowerTray is able to achieve unparalleled stability.
    • These ship right to your front door with full color instructions and all mounting hardware needed for installation.
Currently there are 4 configurations offered:

    • Universal – Blank slab for you to create your masterpiece.
    • Switch Pros – Pre-drilled and slotted for a Switchh Pros, Terminal block, bussbar and fuse box
    • sPOD SE – drilled and slotted for an sPOD (6 switch, 8 switch, SE)
    • sPOD Bantam – Being released in Febuary.

More trays are in the works! I will be releasing additional options for mounting the Blue Sea and Cooper Bussman line of products soon.

In honor of being granted official vender status, by the great and all powerful @tcBob, I am offering a special to all my fellow TacomaWorld members. At anytime use code “TWPROUD” on my website for 10% off your purchase of any Tacoma PowerTrays.

    Useful Information:

    Fuses and Circuit Breakers
The main reason we run circuit breakers/ fuses is because if a positive battery cable is accidentally grounded, the rapid discharge of energy may/will cause a fire. Also it prevents the load from either drawing more current than it, or the cable, can handle. But most of us are aware of our energy consumption and properly fuse our accessories so the protection is more for the cable that gives power to the Switch Pro, than the Switch Pro itself.

The most common cause of grounding a positive wire is usually user error... However, more serious cases happen all the time. We definitely put our trucks through their paces, and as a result the high vibration/abrasion battery cables are subject to can easily wear through the protective coatings on the cable over time. Worse yet, in the event of an accident a cable can get pinched and start a fire that way too.

Circuit breakers are great for the user error scenario, because it only happens for a second and we can just reset it. But it's important that your circuit breaker be placed as close to the source (battery) as possible, otherwise you're leaving a stretch of the cable unprotected.

I always recommend fusing your power cable directly at the source with a Marine Rated Battery Fuse. It's the best way to guarantee your safety because 100% of the cable will be protected if anything were to happen. Also it mounts directly on the battery terminal, so there's no need to have a separate mounting space allocated for it.

But it is just a recommendation and not a requirement. I know plenty of people that just run a straight positive cable from the battery to the Switch Pro and that's up to you.

Manuals and relocating the clutch fluid reservoir.
Just pop the reservoir out of its bracket.
Unbolt the factory bracket and attach it to the underside of the PowerTray by using the “clutch fluid reservoir relocation bracket”.
Install the PowerTray like normal with the reservoir just pushed out of the way.
Once everything is in place, just take the clutch fluid reservoir and clip it back into its original bracket.

Another great option would be a mount for winch solenoids under the hood and also air compressor mounts too.

hey @gordi we're actually working on a compressor mount now and I like the idea of a solenoid mount too... I may have to think on that.

Just searching through vendors who recently posted and look at this! Just ordered a switch-pro and wasn't to satisfied with the mounting solutions I've seen.

    Ordered.

    Thanks for the discount!

A little birdie told me that you can now set each switch to "trip" at a specific amperage instead of just 18/35 amps per switch. So if you have super small wire that gets pinched the switch pros has the ability to cut power (if set correctly) before the hole wire goes up in flames.
