I just went blackout on my 3gen headlights. Really happy with results. Matte black helps hide imperfections and doesn't require a clearcoat to look finished, depending on the color it may look to much like a ricer..just my opinion. It's fairly simple just need balls, patience, finesse and a little luck.

Yeah I agree on being to ricey. I have pyrite mica paint, I figured its dark enough to look good, and worse case I can just go over it with black. Seems pretty easy, any tips for separating the two body pieces? I have heard differing opinions on heat, time, and method of prying. Thanks!

16s are where it's at! Make the tires look bigger. Thomas just got 17s on his 35s Wildpeaks and those 35s look tiny!

It's relatively easy, yeah just nerve racking! I followed this thread pretty faithfully as far as temperature. 300° for 10 minutes on the left assembly, then pulled apart 3/4 off the way until the adhesive sealant started to dry back up. Then I put it back in the oven for another 5 minutes and it came apart with some love from the heat gun. As far as how to separate, I had some gorilla grease gloves that allowed me to grip the headlight and not burn my hands. They pretty much pop apart, but they're stubborn. Keep in mind the glue doesn't melt or even change viscosity it just loses its adhesive properties. It will still be hard like plastic hot. In other words, the plastic will melt from the heat gun before you melt the glue and the pliers will bend the plastic if you don't hold your tongue right. Sorry meant to keep this brief..pm me if you have more questions. Also check out this video.

    Recommended tools/supplies:

    -Pry pliers from this kit

    -Headlight sealant here

    -Gorilla non-slip gloves

Hey. My name is Harry. Born in Texas and live in Florida now since 74. My brother lives in Canton. We are planning a camping trip to Chattahoochee Nation Forest in may of 2019. My question is what are your thoughts on a Tent for my Tacoma DCSB. I have been looking at the Napier Sportz. Any help please fire away.

What sliders? I'm waiting to see if Mobtown is going to make a special run of aluminum. Mine would mostly be used as a step and to protect against runaway
    shopping carts anyways.

Aluminum? You're going to pay a helluva lot more for that than normal sliders. What's the point? Weight savings

    If I do 17s, I like tall 33s. 295s probably or maybe 255s
