I have it tagged because some point in the next "whenever" I need to take care of it. I don't have some sort of magnified recall. Just a bunch of things I mean to do, that I never get around to, tagged.

I have the same issue. It's finding the time to do it.

Yah, never thought of that piece! Great write up on it too. What could cause the premature wear though?

Durr that makes it okay for a $37k vehicle manufactured in 2018 to make noises as if it's about to fall apart.

Haha yes. It is a truck. But a brand new truck shouldn't sound like its going to fall apart when it goes over speed bumps.

2015 here... Same noise. I've noticed the it happens when I turn left, fully cut the wheel and hit a dip. When I turn to the right, fully cutting the wheel and hit a dip, usually there's no sound.
Somethings not quite right on the driver side.

I have this same issue whenever making a left on a particular dip. Brand new truck. It sounds awful. It's a chassis-flex noise combined with scraping noise on mine. Thought it was the air dam hitting the pavement. Took it off and still there.

Update from me: I took the truck in and told them their shop guy thought the calipers needed grease backed in the pad seats to keep them from jolting around when hitting a bump. The advisor called me back and informed that a Toyota big wig has seen this problem elsewhere (woohoo!) and that the directive is to replace the front struts. So now I need to schedule yet another 4 hour PTO block to take my truck in and get it back so Toyota can fix their seemingly first ever truck they've designed...

This makes somewhat sense, because all the bro's that lifted their truck do not report the clank sound.

Possibly end links if you have a sway bar...

I had the same noise just picked up my truck and the front struts were replaced. I was getting the noise from both sides over bumps or through intersections (dips) . Now as for my howling sound they put down no problem found even after confirming it with the shop Forman and 5 days and 110 miles later.

Toyota published a TSB for the issue. I think you're being bamboozled.

So I just changed my shocks last week, and the clunking was gone! I guess it was my right shock? It looked fine though. But I had Bilstein 5100's on the 1.1" notch, not stock sport shocks.

X2 on the sway bar end links. Mine came loose and were destroyed at about 15k miles. Made a clicking/clunking sound whenever I’d go over bumps

Sorry to hear that. I suppose you could buy some of the $250 0-mile OR take off shocks from a bro that often come for sale on this forum and see if different shocks remedy your issue?

I get this problem after a speed bump (not speeding) sounds like the rear diff is smacking the ground.
