Thanks very much Caleb! And thanks again for all your help. The ride is fantastic. Just the right amount of stiffness o_O:anonymous: hahaha. But seriously it's outstanding. I did an at home alignment while I wait for my appointment and so far it's great!

No more hunting for mirror controls in the dark!

    20180124_165229.jpg

    20180124_165353.jpg

    20180124_192355.jpg

    Important takeaways:
    • Although it looks way different in the top two pictures, it actually matches really well. The very bottom picture is the closest to in person.
    • The power for the LEDs comes from the mirror control 12v so the LEDs are on whenever the key is at or past accessory mode. (I always keep my dash lights on so it doesn't bother me). You could re-wire it independently if you wanted to though.
    • It was a true plug and play. All the functions work. The little switch in the corner is for my heated mirrors, but I assume you could use the same switch and just have an extra button.
My tray light switch parts are on the way for that to match and then the only unlit one will be the bed plug switch

I finally matched all my switches!

I took out the resistor that takes the LED supply from 12v to 2v, soldered a few pieces of wire between the contacts, then soldered in a factory bulb.Voila!

The only one that isn't lit up is the bed plug switch. If anyone has a factory solution to this I would love to hear it!

Also I know the pictures don't look like it but the mirror control switch actually matches pretty well. Here's a better picture of what it actually looks like in person.

Haha, I followed this write up, used an air on board switch, then just called air on board and asked for a blank black cover for my switch so it would be more discreet.

Swapped out my tires to brand new 255/80/17 cooper discoverer st maxxs. Love them so far! Also changed my oil and installed a fumoto valve. And finally bent my center console lid spring so it stays open with the extra weight of the grid it organizer.

Thank you very much! I thought about new wheels but the stock ones don't look that bad. I am thinking about a different color though. Maybe this!

    More info on it.

Yes! I was thinking of something similar like this. He used VHT Graphite Wheel paint.
