    There will be a slight gap at the very front edge. The body line of a Tacoma is very very slightly different than a hilux. Template or not the gap will be there. Hard to see it if you don’t know where to look. Most of it closes up when you tighten the nuts. I pushed my fender out a little from the inside and closed most of it up

    it comes with a template, but its not designed for tacoma. cardboard works well, i reused the ones from the box the snorkel came in.

    I used leftover fipg i had from toyota to fill in the gaps, just tape off where you want it to fill and fill it with the form in place gasket. Any black rtv also works or if you can find black silicon but gasket maker is easier to work with.

    gasket maker it is! thanks man!!! I used your method and writeup to install mine! my install is not the cleanest, but IDC it works. besides new steel is cheap haha

    might be selling my OEM driveshaft that has new u joints and the IDELS carrier bearing already installed. I can't believe i'm saying this but i'm thinking about selling my truck over the summer too haha
