Actually, those trips were just the opposite - De-Tour started snowy and ended "warm" and beautiful. Better than our surprise blizzard! (which I guess was also beautiful)

 

That trip ended well though too, our day at gemini bridges was beautiful.

Just got back from Utah and am catching up on everything. Super stoked with what I'm seeing though. Need to catch up on their thread and watch the video, but can't wait for mine.

I'm still confident they'll sort out a proper fit and finish for the 1st gens.

also are you using the narrow or medium angle on the gopro? Or is the studio just not as wide of a lens?

 

Yea the front end of that truck is butter.

The miniquad shots are GoPro session 5 at 2.7k 30fps superview. I'm using an ND 4 filter on it. The shots at the end are from Brandon's mavic air. He was shooting 1080 (probably linear) so it didn't come out together quite perfect.

 

Yeah HUGE difference is color and contrast. That would explain that. I am surprised that is superview. Seems like the FOV is narrower than it should be..but maybe not..

Any of you have experience with keeping out of state licences when moving?

I still have my WY licence, and being down in TX I am town between just leaving a permimant address in MT and getting my MT licence or actually getting my TX one.

Reason being is if I (ever) purchase a new truck, there is no MT sales tax and I can register it there vs TX. Downside is no buying hand guns here in TX, will also have to look into the CCW laws as well.

 

Not sure you can do that legally anyways. Plus then you'd pay income tax in MT and probably Tx if they have it.

I still have my Wyo license while in MT. But that will go away as I'll want to fish here and hunt.
