I’ve been thinking of doing the same. Maybe more like 2-3 months for me though. I have a cap and a bed platform I’ve built up for sweet camping comfort. I read thru the bed platform thread for ideas.

Nah I got a flatbed. I am thinking of making a big box with doors. Inside will be inverter, 2 batteries, solar controller, fridge, and some shelving in the center, with framework above box for solar panels sunk below square tubing so I can still haul my boat. Arb awning that meets up with the awning on oztent rv4. Box would be about 2 foot wide and go all the way up to just below the role bar. That plus a seat swap with a center console fridge I should be able to get by on all that. Simple living for a simple guy.

My gear indicator lights D to 1 in the dash don’t work sometimes. This has been happening about once or twice a week for a month. I have to move the shifter back and forth a few times to get the lights to work. The trans goes into gear. Is there a sensor under the shifter for the dash lights?

Yes, it's a known issue with trucks in the north. The shifter arm rusts up where it goes through the transmission housing, no longer gets a good ground, take a few shifts to knock the rust around till the light comes on. Is it getting hard to shift yet?

Nice utility body and a great platform for a work truck.

Should do the trick for my small business. It is replacing a Chevy Silverado 1500 Work Truck with a similar cap setup. A little less space in the bed, but I can deal with that. Needed a 4x4 to access farm properties and other slushy areas.

Sometimes it feels a little stiffer when I shift it. That is when the gear indicator lights don't work. What is the fix for this?

Maybe you’ll have some extra space for some dry ice. Lol

What is the offset difference in those. What size tires did you go with?
