Won't hurt anything in the rear, you'll have a hell of a rake if you got the 5 leaf... might drive a bit differently, but it certainly won't hurt. Actually, you'll probably enjoy the rear not being all wishy-washy. :D

Not that I know a damn thing, but wanted your ideas on what I intend to do. My 5 leaf pack has arrived and I previously have purchased Monroe shocks and struts, and a 2 inch spacer for the front struts. The shocks are heavy duty, off road I believe. My good neighbor will install all of it and then I will get the front lined up. I don't do any off roading. Does this sound like it will work. I did not want to wait around on billies or spend the money now. Do you think the truck will have a decent stance?

Shouldn't be a problem, other than excessive rake. That's why I was just going to put on the rear shocks while I wait for the front. It is easy, and I will be less pissed off every day until then...

Thanks fellas! I assumed I'd be sporting a decent rake but would love to quit being so wishy-washy (in more ways than one). I plan to dive in Friday and will measure and post photos. Anyone got a forklift I can borrow?

I'm about to ask a total Noob question.

Look at the picture below, can you confirm its a 5-pack?

Thanks, I'm an idiot, so i guess the bottom thicker leaf is considered the fifth leaf?

Im not sure, although I was under the impression that the big one is just an overload leaf. Maybe someone can be more helpful than I am .

Yes, correct, it is a 5-pack. 4 leaves + 1 overload leaf. The "stock height" replacement is the 4 pack, which is 3 leaves + 1 overload leaf.

P.S. I am often and idiot, too, so we can take turns....

Haha awesome thanks a lot! Thats what I thought, but wasn't too sure. I didn't want to get them installed and then realize I had a 4-pack.

Did anyone else notice that the 5 leaf moves the axles back maybe 3/8"?
