    Thanks!

Hope to do this upcoming weekend.

Spring to do list is piling up!
    1. Install DIY Cap lift device inside the garage. Gonna jury rig some bicycle lifts.
    2. Install fresh EPDM cap seals.
    3. Figure out how to mount my Thule cross-rails (thanks @Toy4me !) to my new cap roof tracks.
    4. Fix my busted DS rear cap window
    5. Pull under carriage armor
    6. Wash entire trucks, buff, wax
    7. Drain/refill all fluids: Engine oil, tranny, F/R diff, T-case
    8. Deal with a lot of surface rust.
    9. Rattle can all armor.
    10. Deal with all the shit I come across when I do all of the above.

Yeah, my hood's been noticeably higher on the DS than the fender line for about 8 months now. @cynicalrider spotted it during a winter wheeling trip. He thought my hood was not latched on properly.

@chad_chinchilla I May be selling a fire stick 3’ antenna, relentless hood mount, and HD spring if you want to add that stuff onto the jack. I’m thinking about using this K40 whip antenna I have sitting in the garage.

I ended up making some 1/8" plateto go under the "wings" from the rad to the fender, drilled some holes in the core support and plug welded them. Then I had cracking between the wings and the main road support. Braced those. Now new cracks. Have some 1/4" rod that I will bend and weld in front of the wings. After that I will just refab the entire core support from square tube similar to what Dirt Designs did to Alex's truck.

Yeah. Every one of us that wheels regularly should probably check the hood catch as that area of the hood is thin and is just tacked on.

Don’t you need a different mount now? Or gonna make it work?

Haha no prob. Keep this pic for reference when you do install. You’ll need help tuning the antenna too.

I’m not sure when I get time and an extra set of hands I’m gonna hide the wiring for the cap but I gotta take it off to run it under the plastic and I’ll test fit the mount again. Right now when I tried it the mount slightly rubbed on the tailgate so I’m hoping that will fix it

    This ^^^ is mucho importante.

And when you ground the antenna, make sure you're down to bare metal. Or it ain't gonna work. Ask me how I know this :anonymous:

The tail light mount looks cool but I had issues with it rubbing too. That's why I got the hood mount. The wire run was super quick and easy too.

Probably. They were like 7 years old or so. I did the shackle flip a long time ago...
Age & wheeling all over the country will do that I guess.

Nice. I should have a good solid 6+ more years with my B110’s.

    That’s a great ROI.

What wire for the cap, third brake light and done light? It shouldn’t have to run to the front of the truck I’m guessing to the battery.. you can tap into the tail light harness.

Has anyone picked up a set of ome dakar leaf springs from ok4wd lately?

My 7 year old all pro expos are pretty much shot. I'm thinking about picking up some dakars from ok4wd to save on shipping.

Are dakars still one of the best off the shelf options for a heavy ass truck? I have a shackle flip too.

Edit: I'd be installing the Dakar add a leaf too
