    I like seeing the load while I’m driving. Even though I’ve been driving manuals for 8 years, sometimes the engine is working harder than I realize. So I downshift and all is good in the world.

    I also like monitoring engine temp, so I know when it’s actually warmed up in the winter time, or during summer while wheeling the truck won’t get too hot.

    The battery voltage and air intake temp
    aren’t necessary, but I have them because why not.

    Scangauge or Ultragauge is way better than just the idiot lights on the dash. A little info can go a long way...

    I got lucky as hell with mine. Usually around $150 but they were $75 on Amazon for some unknown reason. There was a thread on it and they all got scooped up in a couple hours.
