Bhahaha I convert the damn truck to 4WD, buy a plated winch bumper and sliders, and get off-road suspension and I’ve never been off road before.

I’m like a Jeep Wrangler owner.

If I had a nice sports car I would be upset about requiring the front plates. Ruins the front end of the car. But it’s a truck it’s a utilitarian vehicle I don’t mind.

Can always put it in the windshield

Previous owner claimed 6.5psi, pulley owners reportedly say anywhere from 6-7

I wouldn’t say I’ve really ever been off road either. Mainly just off pavement hahah.

illinois runs front and rear plates but indiana runs just the rear. getting pulled over and being asked where your front plates are and being a smartass and answering "jeez i wonder if thats because im from indiana?" i ill advise doing that lol. i cant stand people who are idiots.

When there’s no more parking at my school I park on the dirt foothills by the road. Only trucks ever park there because the entrance angle is too high from the curb.

You sure the belt isn't slipping at all? Another possibility that comes to mind is maybe a vacuum leak from something not being quite sealed or tightened during install...any codes or pending codes like a P0171 that might point toward that? When I first got my truck it threw a P0171 from a leak on the back of the supercharger and it had a hard time hitting boost then, too.

@Torspd has always been very helpful when it comes to all things boost, he might have a few ideas as to why you aren't seeing the right PSI with the newly installed blower

Oregon required it also, lived there till I was 22, never did a front from my GTI's to trucks. Plus on the trucks they usually got bent and broke off. Same with the back one, the front plate was put on the floor board under the Matt or up in the dash. I tuck the rear under the bed a few inches. It's legal just not visable from over head.

Totally forgot to say. After my friends and I had a photo shoot the other day we had a drag race on a utility road off in the marshlands.

    DD8C380C-E345-4D6E-8300-7E8043F16A3C.jpg

Obviously the Tesla P100D won, its 0-60 time is like 2.5 seconds.

The Tesla P100D was first, and then the 335i, and then the v6 4Runner, and I was waaaaayyyyy in the back left in the dust.

This truck wasn’t made to do speed. 0-60 is probably 4.5 years.

Hmm, just looked at the reviews for the boost gauge I have, lots of people report it is innacurate. Weird part is the vacuum seems about right at 19-20 inHg

    Thanks!

Oh man. Me too. When done right they look awesome and i bet are just so damn fun to drive. One of those, an MKIII supra, and a 08 FXT would fill out my garage perfect.

What brand of boost gauge? the part store ones aren't that good..

What are you supposed to be making?

Yeah can't wait to do that to mine.

    Whats the brand?

Feels better for sure. Still very quiet haha but no more bog at low RPM acceleration and it can move up to speed pretty fast.
