Curious what your plans are with the solar panels? How much can each one reasonably power (I suck with electronics)?

 

I have a dual battery system in my truck with a 50 qt fridge/freezer and a 12k winch. Aux battery is Optima Yellow top. I'm hoping the 100w solar panel can charge the battery over extended overlanding trips.

 

You will be fine. I have a flexible 100w on my roof. ARB fridge on single Yellow Top. Daytime battery voltage will stay between 13-14.4v, depending on sunshine.

How is that panel holding up? Any hazing on the clear cover on top? Any dead cells?

 

Panel is holding just fine. No hazing as far as i can tell. Havent done a recent amperage check but I still break 14v. After my Baja trip in November, i'll pull the panel off, give it thorough cleaning, check amperage and reinstall with two rows of tape.

 

@Subway4X4 did you ever buy these? They're now $120 and include an 8.5 amp controller
